Mike Lowry is the owner of The Stone Poets. He began working in the stone trade nearly seven years ago. He graduated from The University of Kansas in 1991, with a degree in English. His favorite stone is Verde Butterfly granite. His favorite poet is James Wright.
Luis Galicia is a Stone Tech with The Stone Poets. He lives in NE Los Angeles with his wife and son, Jordan. Jordan was named after the basketball player, Michael Jordan. His favorite stone is Jerusalem Limestone. Luis' favorite poet is Tupac Shakur. Mike and Luis constantly argue about the legitimacy of Tupac as a poet.
George Mitchell is a Senior Stone Tech with The Stone Poets. George has over four years experience in the stone trade. George's favorite stone is White Carrera marble. His favorite poet is Octavio Paz.
Sergio "Jose" Cruz is a Stone Tech for the Stone Poets. Sergio really enjoys working with our concrete overlay materials, and considers himself a concrete artist. His favorite stone is honed bluestone. His favorite poet is Robert Frost.
Roberta Trotman is our office manager and keeps our office computer network running. She is earning a degree in Education from CSLA, and wants to eventually run a charter school for at-risk youth in NE Los Angeles. Why anyone would dream of leaving this company puzzles all of us, but we wish her luck and appreciate her very much while she's here. Her favorite stone is actually a clay tile - Saltillo. Her favorite poet is Emily Dickinson.
Nick McNally works as a salesman and heads our marketing department. He has an Associate's Degree from Platte College in graphic design, and has his sights on eventually attending law school. His favorite job around here is polishing concrete floors. His favorite poet is Dylan Thomas.
